National Cheng Kung University College of Social Sciences completed the review of the social issues of the 2021 Forward-looking Policy Student Leaders Online Forum on June 7.
The event launched the Internet Poster Popularity Award. The winners will receive prizes ranging from NT$3,000 to NT$30,000. The results of the selection were announced on the website at 12 noon on June 15.
In order to encourage students to participate in diversity, stimulate cross-disciplinary and cross-field research inspiration, stimulate the discussion of social science-related issues, and develop socially good solutions, the 12 groups that enter the review are all rewarded.
The reward method is divided into school-level awards, including the 1st to 3rd and excellent works; the college-level awards select encouragement awards, growth awards and prospect awards, as well as 5 groups of poster popularity awards selected through online voting.
The poster popularity award was voted on the Facebook fan page, and 10 voters were drawn, and a souvenir from the National Cheng Kung University Academy of Social Sciences was presented.
In order to strengthen students’ observation and criticism of the current state of society, and cultivate students’ ability to think independently and solve issues, this activity gathers teachers and students from 7 courses in politics, economics, law, psychology and education in the college, analyzes 33 contemporary social problems, and proposes solutions. On May 29th, the “2021 Forward-looking Policy Student Leaders Forum” was held online, inviting both inside and outside the school Scholars conduct a preliminary review of the issues raised by each group, and select 12 groups of potential issues for review, and the re-election was been conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 7 to select the most forward-looking topics.
