In 1931, the Taiwan Governor’s Office established the Tainan Technical College, now known to the world as National Cheng Kung University. In 2021, during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, NCKU’s alumni guarded over Taiwan and its people with utmost professionalism. Over the past 90 years, generations of NCKU alumni have faced numerous challenges with humility, doing their part and becoming a strong support for the society. NCKU has become an all-round university with global impact.
